1. INSTALL EGR PIPE CONNECTOR

  1. Install the 2 gaskets and EGR by-pass valve to the EGR with cooler pipe assembly.

  1. Install the EGR pipe connector with the bolt and 2 nuts.

    Torque:
    23 N*m{ 235 kgf*cm , 17 ft.*lbf }



2. INSTALL EGR WITH COOLER PIPE ASSEMBLY

  1. Install 2 new gaskets.

  1. Install the EGR cooler assembly with the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.

    Torque:
    23 N*m{ 235 kgf*cm , 17 ft.*lbf }

  1. Install the No. 1 vacuum transmitting pipe sub-assembly with the bolt.

    Torque:
    9.0 N*m{ 92 kgf*cm , 80 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the vacuum hose, No. 2 oil cooler hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose.

  1. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps and connect the 2 connectors.

  1. Install the wire harness with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    8.0 N*m{ 82 kgf*cm , 71 in.*lbf }

  1. Engage the wire harness clamp and connect the 2 connectors.



3. INSTALL ENGINE COVER ASSEMBLY

  1. Engage the 3 claws and install the engine cover.



4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the air cleaner hose.

    NOTICE:
    Position the clip so that the claws are centered over the paint mark on the hose.



5. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the radiator assembly (Click here).



6. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
